If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.

Learn to Teach Others

Many people know that the best way to assess if someone understands a new concept, is to have them “teach” someone else. For the past three weeks, my fourth graders have been working on creating a tutorials on a variety of language arts concepts.  The students have finally finished their projects and are ready to share and reflect.  Next week, they will be sharing their tutorials with their own classmates.  A few projects will be shared with the younger classes in our school.  They are all posted on the students’ individual blogs, and will hopefully be helpful to classes around the world.  Here are some of the projects.  The remainder will be posted soon.   I am very proud of the effort put into these tutorials.  Be sure to comment and give some feedback to the fourth graders.

So, what did you think?
